Election of the President and Vice President by Popular Vote Act*
Section 1 We, the majority of the adult Citizens of the United States of America, hereby declare that in order for every person’s vote to be counted equally regardless of where they live, the President and Vice President shall be elected by a simple majority of the votes cast nationally.
Section 2 If no candidate has a majority of the popular vote, then whoever receives the most votes shall be elected.
SECTION 3. We, further declare that the provision of Article Two Section One of the Constitution of the United States of America which states that the President and Vice President shall be elected by electors from the several States is hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. It is our expressed desire that the President and Vice President be elected by a direct popular vote.
Upon being Approved and Ratified by a majority of the adult Citizens of the United States of America, this Act shall immediately become law.
